Response to Anthony’s Blog Post #2
Hi Anthony, I really enjoyed your post and how you connected Backward Design, Design thinking, and Bloom’s Taxonomy to computer science learning. Your point starting with clear goals reminded me of my experience in gardening at the Empress, because my boss similarly always had me understand the proper way to care for a plant before I began planting it.
Just like in your coding projects, I feel that the backward design method made each step feel meaningful and connected to a larger goal.
I think that your take on surface versus deep learning was done really well, because for me personally, I find that learning and understanding has to be done through application, not just from memorization. Great post overall, I feel that you tied every topic together very well.
